Sorry it's taken so long to send pictures of our little miracle! We've been kind of busy...

Samuel John Thunell decided to come on February 24th at 5:30pm. (having a baby is a good way to get out of a 7:30 am Welfare Meeting!) He weighed 7lbs 10 oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long.

J.M. was in Salt Lake taking a pretty intense exam for the Jet he is going to be flying. I started into contractions at 3:10 am, my sweet parents came over around 8:00 to help me out. By 9:00 I was in the labor & delivery room, all this time resisting the urge to call J.M. to come quick! At 2:00 J.M. was done with his exam so my dad called him to tell him to get here fast, but don't get a speeding ticket! Sam was ready to come right then, so the nurse did what she could to slow things down until J.M.. got there. The nurses were all making bets on if he would make it or not. The funny thing is that J.M.'s dad was also in an exam during the birth of J.M. and missed it! Fortunately, my cute husband made it by 3:30 to witness the birth of our son.

Sam is the sweetest thing I've ever seen! He's doing well. I love to snuggle, J.M. can't wait to strap him to a paraglider!

Love you all!

Tresha
